How Can You Help the School to Raise Money?
by Hunter Noblit, Jordan Buchanan, Calli Harrel, and Jesse Clouse
There are several ways that parents can help the school earn money for supplies and activities. Most of these programs are easy and probably involve products you buy on a regular basis. In most cases, all it takes to help the school out is to turn in the required labels.
Campbell's helps the school raise money. Cutting out your Campbell's labels and dropping them in the Campbell's collection bin in the school library is all it takes to fulfill this program. Some of the products are worth one point; others are worth five. Some of the one point products are Campbell's Chunky Soup, Spaghetti, and other food products. Some of the five point products are v8 Soup and v8 Splash.
Box Tops for Education can be found on a variety of products. Each of the Box Tops is worth $0.10 for the school. The school can use the money for anything it wishes. Classroom supplies are just one area that th school can shoose to use the funds. To turn in Box Tops for Education, simply send them to school with your child. Box Tops can be placed in the collection bin in the library.
White's Foodliner receipts can be turned in and redeemed for money for Kingman Elementary. Each receipt turned in at the school collection bin in the library or in the labeled containers at the front of White's is worth money to the school. In the past, Kingman Elementary and Middle School has used the money collected through this program to purchase die-cuts and other school supplies for teachers to use in the classroom.
Target has been helping Kingman Elementary and Middle School earn money. Partents can apply for and use a Target Red Card, which is a store credit card. The Red Cards donate 1% of every purchase to the school of your choice. There is no limit to the amount the school can receive. To get a Red Card account, school supporters can apply in stores or on-line at Target.com/apply. Target also offers the Target Check Card, which is its newest product. It acts as a debit card by connecting to an existing checking account.
The school really appreciates of the efforts of parents in supporting these programs. Please remember to clip those labels and box tops before throwing packaging away and turn in those reciepts from White's Foodliner!
